About the team

Foundational is a focused team of B2B integration specialists with over 25 years of history in managed EDI and supply chain connectivity. We’re part of Paragon Consulting Services, which gives us the stability and breadth of an established enterprise firm with the focus and culture of a specialized practice.

Our work is technical and hands-on. A typical week might involve building EDI maps for a new trading partner, troubleshooting an ERP integration during a customer’s system upgrade, onboarding a manufacturer to a new retailer’s compliance program, or working through an exception queue with a customer’s operations team. The problems are real, the stakes matter — these integrations keep supply chains running — and the work is genuinely varied. No two customers or trading partner environments are quite the same.

We’re based in Cranberry Township, PA and work with customers across manufacturing, distribution, retail, logistics, and steel processing. Most of our team works in a hybrid model, with some fully remote roles depending on the function.

What we look for

We’re a technical services company — most of our work involves EDI mapping, ERP integration, trading partner onboarding, and managed operations. The people who thrive here tend to combine strong technical ability with real customer focus: they like solving problems, communicating clearly about what they’ve found, and seeing their work make a direct difference for the customers they support.

Specific backgrounds we value include EDI and B2B integration experience (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP), ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Epicor), and any background in supply chain operations or manufacturing IT. That said, we care more about how you think and how you work with people than whether your resume checks every box.
